How to announce his clockings ?

Click on the menu [I'm a fancier and I want to subscribe to a race to announce my clockings].

To be able to announce your pigeons, you must…

  1. Log in.
     
  2. Select a race and at least one associated club for which you want to announce your clockings.
     
  3. Announce your clockings in the Google Earth map.
     

How to log in ?

To be able to manage your clockings, PiRcube SPOT needs to know

  1. your name,
  2. your locality and
  3. your loft coordinates.

If you have a PiRcube LOFT account where you already have filled in this information, click on the button [Connect using my PiRcube LOFT account] and connect to PiRcube LOFT. You will return automatically to PiRcube SPOT once logged in.

If you don't have a PiRcube LOFT account, click on the button [Enter my coordinates manually] and fill in the requested information. Than click on the button [Login].

Loft coordinates must be entered using the format ######.# (WGS84),
 for instance : 12°34'56,70 becomes 123456.7

How to select the race and the clubs where I want to announce my clockings ?

  1. Once you are logged in, the races opened to announcements are listed, sorted by date and liberation place.
     
  2. Click on the race you want to subscribe to. The list of the different organizers appears with the corresponding liberation time.
     
  3. Click on the name of the organizer responsible for the liberation of the pigeons from your club. Informations about local weather conditions appear, along with the list of all clubs participating to the same liberation.
     
  4. Select all club levels for which you have engaged pigeons, than click on [Submit]. You will then be forwarded to the Google Earth map of the selected race.
Make sure you have selected all club levels for which you have engaged pigeons, and only those ones.

How to send an announcement using the Google Earth map interface ?

After having selected the race and club levels for which you have engaged pigeons, you will be located in the Google Earth map of the race.

To announce a clocking, click on the [Announcements] section of the window located in the up-right corner of the screen.

You can input the following information :

  1. The clocking time in the format hh:mm:ss (the : are automatically added by the program)
     
  2. A free comment. This information is not mandatory. What you will enter in this field will be visible by all fanciers connected to the same race.
     
  3. The category or categories of the clocked pigeon. It is important to select all the concerned categories and only those ones.

Click on the button [SPOT!] to send the announcement into PiRcube SPOT.

In case of mistake, it is possible to remove an announcement using the section [My Spots] from the window located in the up-left corner of the screen.


How to watch a race as a single spectator ?

  1. Click on the menu [I wish to follow the progress of a race as a single spectator]. The races opened to announcements are listed, sorted by date and liberation place.
     
  2. Click on the race you want to watch. The list of the different organizers appears with the corresponding liberation time.
     
  3. Click on the name of the organizer responsible for the liberation of the pigeons from the club to watch. Informations about local weather conditions appear, along with the list of all clubs participating to the same liberation.
     
  4. Select all club levels you want to watch, than click on [Submit]. You will then be forwarded to the Google Earth map of the selected race.

How to browse the race schedule of a club ?

  1. Click on the menu [I want to browse the races schedule].
     
  2. Select the country where the club is located. By default, the selected country is the one where you are currently located.
     
  3. Fill in the name or the license number of the club or federation for which you want to browse the race schedule. PiRcube proposes automatically the list of clubs corresponding to the entered characters.
     
  4. Click on the name of the club once it appears in the list.
     
  5. Click on [Races schedule].
